COVID-19

Policies and Procedures

Every morning, until no longer required by ACCD, our staff will complete a COVID health screen and temperature check. Staff are required to report any contact with a known COVID-infected person as well as any travel to any part of the country where there are larger outbreaks or travel restrictions. They will also be asked to report any COVID symptoms. Staff will NOT work if sick or reporting signs of COVID. Please anticipate we may have last-minute cancelations - our priority is to keep everyone safe.

We ask that homeowners also cancel their cleanings should they become ill, have a temp, or have COVID symptoms. We reserve the right to cancel at any time before or during the clean if needed.

As per ACCD guidelines, staff are required to wear masks when within 6 ft of other cleaners/homeowners. They will also be frequently handwashing and changing gloves.

We ask that homeowners are not home during the cleaning to protect both parties. If you must be home please find a location of your home to stay in (that area will not be cleaned during stay). Please maintain a minimum of a 6 ft distance from cleaning staff. Please wear a mask.

Staff will only be cleaning one residence a day (initially) to avoid any cross-contamination. ALL cleaning supplies, vacuums and mops will be sanitized in-between homes. Sponges will be left at each home. These steps will help prevent cross-contamination. We do ask that homeowners consider providing vacuums, mops and sponges.

Staff are required to wash hands immediately upon entering any home and frequently during the course of a clean.

We plan to continue using our range of products you are accustomed to - we will be adding in some additional sanitation procedures. If you would like us to use your cleaning products just let us know.

All staff have completed the mandatory VOSHA training and will be following Goldcoast’s specific COVID-19 safety procedures.

Owner Sarah has completed the Associations of General Contractors of Vermont Covid-19 Site Specific/Job site training.

Sarah has also been designated as the Covid-19 Safety officer and will keep records of employee's work locations (dates and times) for a minimum of 30 days in case contact tracing is necessary.
